Volv Global is pleased to be joining a panel discussion hosted by Innovaud on 15 September in Hammersmith, West London, exploring how UK life sciences businesses can accelerate their international growth through the Lausanne region. Our founder and CEO Christopher Rudolf will join representatives from Innovaud, EPFL Innovation Park and Biopôle Lausanne to share practical insight into establishing and growing a presence in Switzerland.
The panel is designed for members of One Nucleus, BioUK and ARC | Advanced Research Clusters West London, and continues a relationship Volv Global has been glad to build with these organisations, following our participation in the Life Sciences Innovation & Investment Corridor between Lausanne and London earlier this year.
The Lausanne region sits at the heart of Switzerland’s Health Valley, home to more than 1,200 life sciences companies and direct access to global organisations including Medtronic, Merck Group, Incyte, BD, Intuitive, Ferring Pharmaceuticals and Nestlé Health Science. For UK companies weighing where to expand, it offers a concentrated, well-connected ecosystem spanning pharma, biotech, medtech and data science.
Volv Global has been part of that ecosystem since its founding in 2017 at Biopôle Lausanne. Since then, the company has built production-deployed partnerships with pharmaceutical organisations across the USA, Europe and beyond, applying its proprietary machine learning methodology to population-scale real-world data on behalf of patients still waiting for a diagnosis. That experience, across geographies, healthcare systems and disease areas, is what Christopher will draw on for the panel: what it takes for a Lausanne-founded company to build lasting collaborations with major pharmaceutical partners at international scale.
